The Internet of Things (Iot) is hailed as the third wave of the world's information industry following computers and the Internet. It is regarded as a new growth point for the global economy. The government attach great importance to the development of the Iot industry. Xinhua News Agency reported that in the 12th Five-Year Plans launched by various provinces, 23 provinces have set Iot as an important development goal.
The Internet of things (Iot) refers to the connection of information perception devices such as radio frequency identification (RFID), sensors, global positioning systems, and QR codes in accordance with agreed protocols, and the exchange and communication of information through wired or wireless networks. A network designed to achieve intelligent identification, data collection, intelligent control, positioning, tracking, monitoring and management.
 
The application of Internet of Things (Iot) technology in agriculture can not only transform the extensive agricultural management and operation mode, but also enhance the ability to prevent and control animal and plant epidemics, ensure the quality and safety of agricultural products, and lead the development of modern agriculture.
 
II. Demand Analysis of Agricultural IoT in Farm Informatization.
 
Based on the agricultural informatization requirements of the farm, after discussion and analysis, the following specific requirements are mainly identified:
1.On the one hand, it is the automatic monitoring and intelligent control of rice seedling greenhouses, farmland irrigation and grain storage.
2.The second is an agricultural information service platform that provides agricultural technical services to farmers.
3.The third is the agricultural expert hotline through various communication methods such as voice, text messages and MMS.
4.The fourth is to provide an online trade service platform for agricultural and commercial enterprises.
 
For instance, when growing rice, it is necessary to carry out rice seedling raising in greenhouses in advance every spring. Rice seedling raising has strict requirements for temperature, humidity, light, ventilation, irrigation, etc. In the past, it was all done manually based on experience. Not only is the efficiency low, but the accuracy is also insufficient.
 
Through the collection of various data on the environmental indicators of greenhouses by sensors and their centralized collection on the data storage platform, on the one hand, the environmental conditions of each greenhouse can be comprehensively grasped. On the other hand, the specific development of seedlings can be viewed through high-definition videos. Thirdly, through threshold Settings, automatic management of ventilation, lighting, irrigation, etc. can be achieved.
 
III. System Introduction
 
The monitoring and intelligent control solution for rice seedling greenhouses is to collect in real time the temperature and humidity signals as well as environmental parameters such as light, soil temperature, soil moisture content and CO concentration in the crop greenhouse through wireless sensors for light, temperature and humidity, and automatically turn on or off the designated equipment (such as remote control irrigation, opening and closing of roller shutters, etc.). Users can observe the on-site situation, view on-site temperature, humidity and other data, and control the remote intelligent adjustment of designated equipment anytime and anywhere through a computer or 3G mobile phone.
 
IV. Brief Description of the Data Acquisition System
 
Mainly responsible for the collection and control of data such as light, temperature, humidity, soil moisture content and video inside the greenhouse. The upload of data sensors adopts two modes: ZigBee and Rs485. According to the different transmission methods, the on-site deployment of greenhouses is divided into two types: wireless version and wired version. The wireless version uses a ZigBee transmission module to send the sensor's values to the ZigBee node. The wired version transmits data to the Rs485 node via cable. The wireless version has the advantages of flexible deployment and convenient expansion. The wired version has the advantages of high-speed deployment and stable data.
 
V. Network Topology
 
The system adopts multiple network standards. Remote communication uses 3G wireless network, and short-distance transmission combines wireless ZigBee mode and wired Rs485 mode to ensure the stable operation of the network system.
